Royal Fish Hunt Winners Announced: First Weekly Celebration Held!

 


The first ever weekly Royal Fish Hunt celebration was held November 20, 2022. The reigning champions were announced and had their moment to shine on the podium. This week's top fishers are:

Cloe Marleen (cloeconcy) with first place

 ๖̶̶̶ۣۣۜۜ͜ζ͜͡ ⒺⓁⒾⓃⒶ (Elina Tigerauge) with second place

 ڰۣ-ஐ - ̗̀ℵąяԼą  ̖́- ஐڰۣ  (narelle Hennah) with third place


All three were gracious enough to grant this editor a few words about their wins; read on to see what they had to say. Due to language differences and need for clarity, some responses may be edited slightly. 



Cloe Marleen

This is actually the third week in a row Cloe has made it to the number one spot! After the ceremony I had a brief chat with our reigning champ:

Sophina Starchild: How does it feel to be at the top again?!

Cloe Marleen (CloeConcy): ☻

Cloe Marleen (CloeConcy): with the ceremony I was a bit excited... and I am very glad. I am touched by the affection I feel around. 

Sophina Starchild: You looked beautiful! I am so glad you got to have a moment to shine.

Cloe Marleen (CloeConcy): Thank you Soph, this was the third.

Sophina Starchild: oh wow!

 Sophina Starchild: Will you be going for it again? That's a lot of fishing.

Cloe Marleen (CloeConcy): I don't know Soph, I fish for myself, not for the win.

I caught up with Elina after the ceremony as well. When asked how she felt about her achievement, she had this to say:

I am very happy to be number 2. I like fishing, and do it with pleasure. It makes me feel relaxed.

Narla and Cloe were enjoying an event at the same spot after their win, so I caught up with her just after Cloe. If you know Narla, this bubbly bit of conversation is no surprise at all:

Sophina Starchild: How does it feel to be a winner?
 ڰۣ-ஐ - ̗̀ℵąяԼą  ̖́- ஐڰۣ  (narelle Hennah): It feels great! It's a rarity that I'm in the top three in the Royal Fish Hunt!
 ڰۣ-ஐ - ̗̀ℵąяԼą  ̖́- ஐڰۣ  (narelle Hennah): I would like to thank all the land owners who put on awesome events..... and for not kicking me off the land if I  fall a sleep with rod in hand!
 Sophina Starchild: Also, you have been fishing more.
ڰۣ-ஐ - ̗̀ℵąяԼą  ̖́- ஐڰۣ  (narelle Hennah): Yes, definitely! Because it is fun and I enjoy it!
 ڰۣ-ஐ - ̗̀ℵąяԼą  ̖́- ஐڰۣ  (narelle Hennah): I'm a weeeenier!

What I found remarkable about our champions this week is their humility and love for the game. This is why Fish Hunt continues to grow and the Royal Fish Hunt is such a smashing success. Let's be sure to give these ladies a shout out when we see them for all the time and dedication they have put into fish hunt. Each has a special place in our LGH community.

  What happens when you realize your ideal place does not exist in SL?  Well you build it of course and that is exactly what Jisset, founder and builder of Nymph Cove did and we are going to delve into her inspiration and reasons in further detail.
