There IS Life between fishing spots!

Finding fun things to do that are not actually fishing-related but still support the community can be tough.  Some of the awesome landowners have us covered.  Today's article is on a buoy-free area of Novum International Airport.  

We stopped in to pat the plushy and got hooked on a fun round of the SL version of Cards Against Humanity.  There's also a Greedy table and a Cheezy table!  The bar is always open and freshly stocked, and if you look around carefully you might even spot a big name camping out in her tent!

The fun doesn't stop there! Upstairs we had fun in the bowling area too. After a few rounds, we watched some movies while others were playing the axe-throwing game downstairs. Everyone just generally had fun!

A fun relaxing time that had us laughing ourselves silly and left us feeling refreshed, and gave our poor arms a break from all that casting!

It was really great getting to know more about the fishing community and socializing with them.

Making Friends Fishing In a world where many of us navigate social interactions with a touch of awkwardness ( waves...   Hi, I'm Jericho, and I'm a social klutz ), stepping out to forge new friendships or strike up conversations can feel daunting. One of the friends I've made is Kistrel Hawker, an absolutely amazing person. We were fishing at one of Kasabian's spots , quietly enjoying the scenery, when (Wili, don't even try to deny that you have a bit of a twisted, naughty sense of humor) BAM! I fished up an alacrity potion ( yay! ), and as I got hit with it, I exclaimed, "Oh yay, I got hit with Wili's patented golden shower." The next thing I know, Kistrel is spitting up her coffee and laughing so hard. We return to quietly fishing, sharing chuckles, and then BAM!
