Are you ready to start earning Linden? If so, you've likely heard of Fish Hunt, also known as Linden Gold Hunters (LGH). Here's your ultimate beginner's guide, with essential steps, and helpful tips. 🌐🎮


Getting Started: Landing in LGH



Find your way to Fish Hunt (LGH) in Second Life:



Step 1: Acquire Your Fishing Gear

🎣 Get a free fishing rod by clicking on the free rod you see

 Or... get one (free) from Second Life's Marketplace:

Linden Fish Hunter - Beginner Rod (Orange) - Earn by hunting for fish

🛒 Join the LGH (Linden Gold Hunt) group.

📱 Get the LGH HUD.

📲Add the fishing rod to your avatar, along with the HUD.

(right click in your inventory and click 'Add' 


Step 2: Stock Up on Bait

🐛 Your free fishing rod comes with some small green worms.

💸 They run out quickly, so head to the worm barrels.



💚 Buy the cheapest green worms.



🛒 Click on the barrel to check prices and available quantities.

Click on the barrel.  A blue box will pop up in the right-hand corner.   Click 'Buy Worms'.   Then in Nearby Chat, it will tell you the price and how many are available at that price.   Right-click and pay to buy worms.   

 *If the price of worms is .16 and there are one hundred available (at that price), buy 16 Linden worth and you will buy one hundred worms*




Step 3: Locate Profitable Buoys

📍 Visit LGH's website to see all the buoys available. 

To anyone having problems with http://goldtokens.net giving a 403 (insecure content error)

the following is a suggestion for google CHROME browser:

1. goto the following in a new tab  "  chrome://settings/content/insecureContent  "

2. Enter goldtokens.net under "Allowed to show insecure content"

This should fix any issues until the new website is done.

if you use a different browser look for a similar setting to allow insecure traffic

Temporary Multiplier Fish Hunt Website.  Click to see all the Bouys available! 

💰 Buoys at the top are running multiplier events, increasing your earnings.

⏲️ It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fish at a buoy using green worms and a free fishing rod.


Fishing Tips:

 🎣Click on your fishing rod to cast.    You can also right-click and 'touch' your rod from your inventory.

📢Watch 'Nearby' Chat.    You will see your worm count, and how much you make from each cast.

*Keep in mind, the higher your monthly rank and overall rank is... the more you will make*

📢 When you can no longer cast, you'll see "Oh dear, you have spooked the fish" in nearby chat. (Oh dear - it seems that you've spooked the fish at this location. You won't be able to find any more fish for 24hours.)

🌍 Return to the website and select another buoy to continue earning.


Claiming Your Linden:

🏦 When you're ready to cash in your earnings, go back to LGH Business Park.

🏧 Click on the green Fish Hunt ATM, where it says "Fish Hunt" (make sure you've joined the LGH group).



📮 A blue box will appear in the top right-hand corner.



✅ Click on "verify" and enter your email address. (Using Gmail is recommended.)

📧 Check your email for a verification link and click it. You only need to do this once.

💸 Now, click on the ATM again and select "withdraw." Remember, there's a daily limit of 300 Linden.

Fishing and Finding Hearts

  Sometimes finding someone's heart to tip them back is very easy.  Sometimes its exceptionally difficult.  There is a VERY easy method to doing it though, and I have seen people giving out the instructions for it.  Sadly, as I discussed with Loverly, by the time I get to the second sentence in those instructions...my brain starts bleeding.  Loverly very kindly shared with me a streamlined instructional and I'm sharing here with all of you! First at the top menu bar go to World, Area Search, click the Filters Tab and then follow these pictures: Note that in the above picture Attachments are unchecked in the bottom half and then checked in the top half In the above picture we have clicked on the Find tab and typed in Heart and then after that you hit enter of course And like magic the box fills with the listings of people and their hearts!  Simply pick a line and right click and Touch and you can tip people easily!
